It is a rainy night here in South Carolina.  I’m sitting in the Celebration Center, surrounded by beautiful salt lamps, listening to the sound of rain hit the windows… so it really was the perfect night for focusing on peace and connecting with others. I appreciate those that called into tonight and for participating in our test run!  I am looking forward to seeing all of you on the line in the future.  I was not able to record the mediation this evening, but will try and record one this week to carry us until next monday.

We woke up at 3am to start our walmart journey. We met some really great people while waiting in those long lines, and if you find yourself in a position where you are just killing time–learn about those people around you. Be careful not to get caught up in the chaos. A game system is not worth losing ones life over. Be mindful, be loving, and connect.

It seems that too often with holidays we choose in that moment to celebrate one another. Mother’s day should be everyday (just tossing that out there for all the moms). Make everyday an expression of gratitude, be thankful for what you have, and share if you have extra. There are so many in need in this world. Share your time, share your compassion, share a smile.
